Magdalen Silver

Hey! My name is Magdalen Silver and I am Jewish-American actor originally from Sacramento, California! I graduated from Wright State University with my BFA in acting in May of 2025 and will be moving to NYC in early February!

 

I first started performing in elementary school in an Odyssey of the Mind troupe (a creative thinking competition) and soon found myself on the stage. Since then, I haven't really stopped.

I don’t create because I choose to—I create because I have to. Making art is the way I understand myself; it’s when I feel most present, honest, and connected to my surroundings and the universe. There is nothing else that fulfills me in the same way—bringing stories and emotion to life feels woven into my soul.

 

Although my first love will always be theatre, I discovered a new passion for film and television acting during my time in college. There's something about the intimacy of the camera and the quiet power of subtle performance that hooked me. While the stage will always feel like home, I'm excited to keep exploring the screen and building a career in film and TV. 

 

That being said, I'm a HUGE film lover, usually spending my time at the theater seeing new releases or catching up on the classics. You can see my Letterboxd top four here! Aside from acting, I really enjoy directing, writing, reading, thrifting, and playing guitar.
